[2014] Hotel Marqués de Riscal, opened in 2006, designed by architect Frank Gehry, who also designed the Guggenheim museum in Bilbao (see previous post). The hotel is located in Elciego in the world-famous Rioja wine production region. Marqués de Riscal is also a wine estate. The building is quite a distinct object in the traditional town of Elciego.
